Magdalenas

Today is my husband’s birthday. I asked him what he would like me to bake and he requested orange-flavored Magdalenas, just like his grandmother used to make. You’ll typically find these delightful little olive oil cakes flavored with lemon, some recipes use orange instead, which is what I did. Although they are often eaten for breakfast, I think they also make a great summer dessert since they are very light in texture.
